The Brookings Community Kitchen is an effort to make sure that no one in our community ever goes hungry!  Our church has a team of volunteers who purchase food, cook, and serve every Thursday at noon. Four other local churches join us each week and take their turn to serve lunch.  Every day of the week is covered.  All are welcome to join us for a meal and conversation.

Thanksgiving is always a Thursday and Thursday is our day to serve the Community Kitchen lunch, which inspires this three-part announcement:

You are invited to join us, Thanksgiving Day, from noon to 1 p.m. as we host a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner (lunch).  Please RSVP to the church office so that we can anticipate how many additional tables to set.

We will need your help.  If you would like to help cook, set up, serve, or take down, please call the office to let us know; we will need a full crew!

We need pies.  If you can donate a pie or other dessert, please let the office know!

       A box lunch is provided by the members of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church at 401 Fir St.

While there is no charge for those who participate, donations are always appreciated!
